Digital X-Rays in Juno Beach, Palm Beach Gardens & Jupiter, FL
At Kuhl Dentistry, we offer advanced digital X-rays enhanced with AI-assisted technology to elevate your care. Unlike traditional X-rays, our digital imaging provides immediate, high-quality images you can see enlarged on the screen—helping uncover issues not visible during routine examinations.

Clearer Images, Better Diagnosis
Digital X-rays allow us to instantly view detailed images of your teeth and bone. We can zoom in, enhance contrast, and adjust brightness to detect cavities, infections, and other concerns earlier and more accurately than with traditional film.
Extremely Low Radiation Exposure
Digital X-rays use very small amounts of radiation—up to 80–90% less than traditional X-rays.
To put this in perspective:
- A full set of digital X-rays exposes you to about the same radiation you receive from natural background exposure in just a day or two of everyday life
- It's also less than the radiation you receive during a typical commercial airline flight
Comfortable and Comprehensive Imaging Options
We offer two types of digital imaging to meet your needs:
- Digital intraoral X-rays: Small sensors placed inside the mouth for close-up, highly detailed views of individual teeth. These images are ideal for detecting cavities between teeth, evaluating bone levels, and identifying infections or changes in or around the roots of teeth
- Digital panoramic X-rays: A quick scan taken entirely outside the mouth that captures all teeth, jaws, jaw joints (TMJ), and portions of the sinuses in one image
Panoramic X-rays provide a broad, comprehensive view of your teeth, jaws, jaw joints, and surrounding structures in one image, allowing us to evaluate wisdom teeth, plan implant placement, and detect concerns such as impacted teeth, infections, or bone changes that may not be visible with close-up X-rays. The scan is quick, comfortable, and completed in less than a minute using low-dose digital technology—and because nothing is placed inside the mouth, it is especially ideal for patients with a sensitive gag reflex.
Enhanced with AI Technology
In addition to the doctor's careful evaluation, we use advanced AI software to help analyze your X-rays. This provides an extra layer of insight, helping identify potential areas of concern so nothing is overlooked.
